Trump’s Bragging About Flattering Macron And Rutte

President Donald Trump has posted private messages by French President Emmanuel Macron and NATO’s General Secretary Mark Rutte on his infamous platform Truth Social.

It ought to be common sense that world leaders should not respond to other world leaders’ postings on social media. In particular when they are flattering as these two wannabe polite, for the benefit of us all, politicians.

Meetings should be arranged by direct correspondence and private messages are not to be published on social media. These are just common sense standards.

It is reported that Trump is angry about Macron as he probably will decline his invitation for his Gaza Board of Peace. Trump threatens to collect punitive tariffs of 200% for French champagnes and wines.

Macron is right to be hesitant. This Peace Board will be long dead before Gaza’s reconstruction can even begin. UN estimates put the amount of rubble in Gaza at around 60 million tons. The UN and UNRWA anticipate that clearing it will take 15 to 20 years, assuming, for example, 100 truckloads per day. Under ideal conditions, it might be possible to do it faster. However, the situation is complicated by countless unexploded bombs, hazardous materials like asbestos, human remains, a lack of roads, and much more.

What will happen to the 2 million people doesn’t seem to concern this board at first. Should they just cross the border into the Sinai?
