UPDATE below

Sitting in his Golden Office like an adolescent with ADHS, the United States’ new KING, Donald Trump, desperately tries to finally force Russia’s dictator and Ukraine’s deplorable president to the negotiation table. So sad, time is running out for being announced the new AWARDEE of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025.

There were nominations by long disgraced Benjamin Netanyahu, who is on the Wanted list of the International Criminal Court; by Pakistan (yes, Trump made PEACE between Pakistan and India over Kashmere but India disagrees; so more, now secondary, tariffs. And both are NUCLEAR states!). And, just today, by Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Manet (oh, Trump made peace in the border conflict with Thailand).

But more nominations are WELCOME!

Norway is the country which awards the Nobel Peace prize: according to Alfred Nobel’s will, “to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.” So, why not to HIM?

Maybe Trump does not know that Norway does not belong to the European Union. Thus only 15% tariffs, same as the countries of the EU. Let’s be NICE, at least until the Committee will meet. In contrast, Trump slapped 39% on non-EU-member Switzerland (why NOT?), and nobody actually knows how he got to that number.

Trump will soon be informed that the Norwegians declined, after two referendums in 1972 and 1994, to become member of the EU. Poor Norwegians, Trump’s WRATH will be devastating when the Nobel Prize Committee in Oslo will rather award Zelenskyy (my guess), definitely not our your favorite KING. So, punish them with higher TARIFFS! At least 145% tariffs for NORWAY, I expect.

Meanwhile, even Putin in the Kremlin wonders, how can anybody get this moron silenced, possibly in an institution.

But wait a minute, why not several Ig Nobel Prizes? For Peace, Economics, even Medicine (together with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.). Laughing is healthy. And then think about it!

UPDATE August 15, 2025

As the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Naeringsliv reported yesterday, Donald Trump had called, “out of the blue”, Norwegian Finance Minister and former Nato secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg, just to talk with him about the Nobel Peace Prize and, lo and behold, tariffs! While my post above was meant ironical, Trump never hesitates to deliver even the most stupid things. After the embarrassing, albeit GREAT, meeting with war criminal and dictator Vladimir Putin in not welcoming Alaska yesterday, there is still a chance for the prize. Tomorrow, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy travels once more to Washington to meet his nemesis in the White House (praying to God that VeePee Vance is still fishing in Scotland!). If and when Trump can convince Zelenskyy to surrender (the Ukraine has been thrown under bus by Trump already numerous times), well, maybe the three of them will get the PRIZE. Why not?
