No Rhyme Or Reason?

UPDATE BELOW

Many doubt about Donald Trump’s aims in the present war of Israel and the United States of America on Iran. It’s not only the end of Iran’s nuclear program and its ballistic missiles.

But maybe it’s rather regime change?

Is Trump aware of Iran’s complicated constitution? It’s unusual checks and balances? Did they tell him that there are the Iranian Revolutionary Guards who may now be in charge? After the Ayatollah had been eliminated, did Trump notice that the regime is still painfully (for neighbouring countries) functioning?

Does he know about the Iranian soul? Haqq, taqiyyah, ta’arouf?

Just five days ago, Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and inevitable envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff were still negotiating (indirectly) in Geneva. According to Oman’s top diplomat Badr Albusaidi, Iran had made significant concessions regarding its nuclear program.

But, of course, Iran would never give up its right (haqq) to enrich uranium. That Iran never strived for an atomic bomb has long been regarded as taqiyyah (dissimulation) which may be permissible under extreme persecution. After all, nuclear capacity, or opacity, alone may protect a state from being annihilated, be it by bullying super powers or hostile neighbors, cf. Israel or North Korea. A common train of thought of any nuclear emerging country.

That’s why, the Non-proliferation Treaty was designed in 1968. Iran ratified the NPT in 1970, Israel never did.

Of course, negotiations with Iranian delegations were usually tiresome, as if at a bazaar. Lot’s of ta’arouf. Iranians usually report of promising results of “multifaceted talks”. They are masters of flatter.

When Donald Trump (and Benjamin Netanyahu), in the midst of these negotiations, ordered the attack of the office and residence of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei on February 28, they had a decapitation blow in mind. Numerous high ranking officials were present at that time, most were killed. CIA and Mossad must have had specific information for a most effective strike.

It reminded me somewhat of the incredible pager attack on more than one thousand Hisbollah members in Lebanon in September 2024.

It’s Netanyahu’s War

The war in the Middle East had already started on October 3, 2023, just after the massacre done by Hamas when they had escaped from their Gaza imprisonment. Gaza was obliterated first. There are now fantasies about building a Riviera in the strip but no thoughts about two million so far surviving Palestinians dwelling in the rubble with no hope rather than escape to the nearby Sinai desert.

The West Bank will be taken by Israeli settlers, and nobody can stop Israel from finishing the Palestinians. Where should they go? Not Netanyahu’s problem.

Yesterday, remaining Hezbollah forces in Lebanon stepped into the trap and restarted their war with Israel. Israel’s response was prompt.

If Iran will be sinking into chaos, Netanyahu won’t care. He has bigger plans. A greater Israel as Abraham was promised by YHWH. Mike Huckabee, in an interview with Tucker Carlson, recently reiterated Netanyahu’s plans. Iran must no longer be a thread for Israel. So, the Shi’ite state has to go.

And Trump? Well, he is Netanyahu’s puppet on a string, as he was that of Putin’s. Too dumb to learn history, analyze the facts. Consider wise decisions. (What world leaders are supposed to do.)

UPDATE 4 March 2026

What is Greater Israel? Well, Theodor Herzl had this in mind.

This gives the inflammatory combat term, From the River to the Sea a new dimension. Here the river is obviously the Tigris.

As a side note, Jews have just celebrated Purim, the holiday in memory of Queen Esther who saved the Jewish people in Iran from annihilation.
