While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so. I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Much is on the agenda on this long weekend, Pentecost and Memorial Day.

• Firing Praising Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, for her service.
• Ending 47 years of war with Iran (isn’t it a nice coincidence when the 47th President does this?) by probably dropping a small nuclear bomb south of Isfahan, where many suspect the uranium “dust”. After all, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. As Cato the Elder who concluded each of his public statements with, Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam (not that I expect Trump to know about it).
• Pleasing his new friend, China’s paramount leader Xi Jinpeng, by throwing Taiwan under the bus when not selling anymore weapons to the beleagured island.
• Weakening further “brain-dead” Nato (anyway Macon’s words). (They didn’t help with Iran, but I won’t need their help, see above).
• A Cuba invasion (or maybe abduction of former President, 94 years-old Raul Castro who was just indicted by U.S. prosecutors).
• Rough up the annoying Europeans (losers Merz, Melloni, Sanchez, Starmer, this ugly Frederiksen) once more by teaching them a lesson after his special envoy Jeff Landry was not welcomed in Nuuk on Greenland (brought along even a doctor!) the other day despite that he claimed Greenlandic oil could relieve the current oil pressure caused by the Hormuz crisis.

What will probably happen on the long weekend in the Middle East may be a rupture of civilization. As a side note, millions have started this year’s hajj and are on their way to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia. Iran’s response to the bomb near Isfahan (God forbid) will be devastating, not only to Gulf states. Unthinkable.

Still, the above picture is quite chilling as well. It was posted last night on Trump’s Truth Social platform. European leaders must take that seriously and urgently back up Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen.

But to insist that Greenland is part of Denmark is also not a solution. I have long held that the Arctic and especially its largest island should not be, as Antarctica is neither, under the control of any single nation. The vast area should rather be managed internationally through a special treaty system freezing all territorial claims and dedicating the entire region exclusively to peace and scientific research.

Anyway, Donald Trump, keep your hands off Greenland!
